Founder
A Harrisburg native, Adam was the nation's top-ranked tight end recruit out of Cedar Cliff High School, a Freshman All-American at Penn State and a two-time All-American at UMass.
He went on to coach Division I football at Arizona State, then built a sports media business — analyst for CBS Sports, host of the Next Up podcast and co-founder of The College Sports Company. Today he leads the vision, deals and direction of The Breneman Group, deeply involved in every project from acquisition to design to execution. Adam holds a business degree from Penn State and an MBA from UMass.
The team
Managing Director, Acquisitions & Development
Mike leads day-to-day operations for acquisitions and development — scouting properties, managing construction and building the relationships that keep projects moving. He started as Adam's real estate agent and became the go-to for anything that needs hustle and detail.
Director of Development & Investments
Ethan leads underwriting, site evaluation and deal execution across the firm's multifamily and commercial pipeline. He was previously a Development Associate at Charney Companies in New York, supporting the acquisitions team and its Gowanus portfolio — ground-up construction of over 3,000 apartments and $3 billion in capitalization.
He holds a B.S. in Finance from Penn State's Smeal College of Business with a Certificate in Real Estate Analysis and Development, holds an active Pennsylvania real estate license, and co-founded Old State Realty, Penn State's student-operated real estate club. Off the clock: golf, water sports and skiing.
Operations & Finance
Shehan oversees the operations, finances and systems that keep the company operating — making sure every project lands on time and on budget. He started as Adam's assistant and has grown into one of the company's key leaders.
Before joining, he spent seven years in private banking at HSBC and worked in global advisory at Henley & Partners. He earned honors in Yale University's Financial Markets program and holds FINRA's SIE certification.
